Steve Dale, CABC (certified animal behavior consultant) is author of twice weekly national newspaper column (syndicated by Tribune Content Agency). He’s host of two national radio shows (syndicated Black Dog Radio Productions, Steve Dale’s Pet World and The Pet Minute) as well as Steve Dale’s Pet World on WGN Radio, Chicago. His many TV appearances range from Oprah to National Geographic Explorer to a wide variety of Animal Planet programs, and as a former contributor to superstation WGN. He’s currently a regular on nationally syndicated “HouseSmarts TV.”
Among his books, are two ebooks “Good Dog!” and “Good Cat!” He’s an editor of “Decoding Your Dog,” authored by the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists. He’s a contributor to “The Cat: Clinical Medicine and Management” (edited Dr. Susan Little). He’s written forwards and introductions to many pet books, and has contributed to dozens of publications including “Behavior Guidelines for Indoor Cats,” (American Association of Feline Practitioners) and “CATegorical Care: An Owner’s Guide to America’s #1 Companion (American Humane Association, CATalyst Council). His columns regularly appear in “Rescue Proud” and “Catster.”
